Dr's Visit & Shots

Anika had her 6 month Dr's visit today. And.. she had to get her shots. She is pretty happy now as you can see, but not while she was getting the shots. And today her first tooth is starting to come in. For such a rough day, shots and a tooth, she actually is a pretty happy baby!!!

Most times when Anika is drinking her milk, she has to put her one arm up over her eyes (to relax and block out light?) And the other hand is usually playing with my hair or a shirt or whatever is close by to grab onto. Sometimes she looks like she is being dramatic when she throws her arm up over her head. It is quite cute!

Bill & I have been going here for the past couple of years. We found it on the way home from our honeymoon. And since then have returned many times! The owners, Frank & Julie are wonderful people and do a great job with the B & B. This time we brought Anika. It was her first getaway, staying overnight someplace other than home. She did really great! On the way there, she took a two and a half hour nap in the car. She was a hit with the people at the B & B. People at breakfast wanted to come over and see how the baby was doing. And she did really well when we took her out to restaurants and stores. We had a great time and can't wait for another getaway!!
